Hello, and Happy Monday!

While  I don’t usually write blogs on fashion, I have to admit that after spending the past two months in New York, every week, I have noticed so many fashion trends.

I would have to also say , that I am not much of a trend follower,  but after a long while  running around Manhattan in stilettos, I am now a devote of the fashionable flat.

For years I always worn, in the summer, the two-tone Chanel flats ; the iconic beige with the black toe.

But after my feet, have become unrecognizable and look like those of a ballet dancer, I have given in!

I found myself in between clients this week with about an hour to spare and a bleeding blister and of course happened to be on Madison and 60th, where I had an epiphany that I no longer needed to prove I could suffer through the day in four inch heels.

The second I got off the elevator at Barney’s, I no sooner had my shoes off and breathed a sigh of relief, and ran to the Lanvin shoe area.

The most popular trend that I can see happening right now, is that of the flat shoe, worn barefoot.  And the brands that seem to be carrying the trend are, Lanvin, Chanel, Prada

I was beyond relieved to say the least and the best part,  is that comfort is actually part of a trend.  That is a sentence I never thought I would even think

Here are some  great looks for flats!

So I promptly have put away my very large supply of band aids for day and have relegated the cushions for the balls of my  feet for the evening!

So feet, be flat!!
