Vendor Tuesday!
I love Tuesdays as they give me the opportunity to invite you to share in my love and support of a particular vendor. Whether it is a fabric resource or a secret source for lighting and accessories!
I get emails each week asking me about my fabric resources or where to get the best club chair, so I am designating Tuesday’s for that exact answer!
Enjoy!
Today’s vendor is Bergamo Textiles.
I found Bergamo about seven years ago and since that time I would have to admit that they are a resource that I use for every one of my projects and most importantly I never duplicate a fabric!
Their line of textiles is so rich and diverse that I am able to find the right fabrics for every project!
Bergamo is a very very special collection of textiles. They have thee most sumptuous silk velvets in the best color palette you have ever seen! In fact! I am using their silk velvet for an upholstered bed I am doing for the show house in Deal New Jersey coming up this May!
A bit of history about Bergamo; Bergamo was founded in 1956 by Walter Easton and Bergamo fabrics began production of it’s fabrics domestically in a New York based mill. then they started to import selective fabrics from Sacho and Rubelli and a wonderful adjunct is it’s sister company Donghia!!
Which in and of itself deserves a lot of kudos for a more modern collection of textiles and furnishings but still all about luxe!
I am using them too for the show house! So stay tuned on that! It will be featured in Veranda and New York Spaces and should be a knock out show!
Bergamo has gorgeous woven thAt even if your budget won’t permit a whole sofa in a certain pattern, the secret is to find a great basic fabric and spice it up with woven from Bergamo.
I often use them for their sheer fabrics as the widths are great and no firm has the excitement in sheets like they do!
Can you tell I love their collection!
Happy Tuesday and check out the collection. They are represented all over the country!
