| To live on the coast and not know it when you’re inside is unpardonable, especially if you’re a Fortune 100 executive who wants the consummate oceanfront retreat. As a result, we approached the remodel of this home from the outside in. Looking to impart a modern coastal aesthetic, we used cool color tones that appear in the surrounding landscape, exotic woods and floating design features like the nautilus-shaped staircase. Meanwhile, touches of glamour, like the powder room’s mitered glass walls and ceiling, infuse the home with a warmth that harmonizes with the sleek spaces. |
